Description:

The Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP) gGmbH is a Think and Do tank that works with businesses, policy makers, partner organizations and civil society toward a sustainable planet. The United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Energy and Environment jointly founded CSCP in 2005. As a non-for-profit, CSCP focus on the promotion of sustainable patterns of consumption and production (SCP). The CSCP adopts a holistic approach to foster SCP involving all actor groups and stakeholders.
It has expertise in the areas of Products and Services, Cities & Infrastructure, Policy, Lifestyles & Behaviour and Business & Entrepreneurship. Within
these areas, it provides both ‘think’ and ‘do’ services in collaboration with its partner organizations across the globe. The CSCP specializes in discovering, developing and replicating sustainable practices in the above topic areas in order to achieve a resilient and sustainable future for all.
In other EU funded projects, CSCP has also provided expertise on stakeholder mapping, outreach, dialogue, policy advice, sector sustainability roadmap development and translating sustainability in areas such as food and agriculture, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), housing, mobility and health.

Main Tasks:

CSCP will have the leadership of WP6 (Stakeholder engagement and knowledge exchange how to increase reuse of plastic packaging waste).
In addition, CSCP is experienced in facilitating knowledge of circular economy approaches (e.g., policy and business model innovations) in Plastics, Textiles and Electronics and other sectors.
